The first days of school have passed, and the weather is changing rapidly. As we begin to usher in the fall season, we put together a few ways to help you get ready for one of the most beautiful times of the year.
Decorate Your Home
There are a few simple swaps you can make to give your home a fall feel without a major redecorating:
Add flowers. Swapping summer flowers for picks like sunflowers, chrysanthemum and pansies keep the room bright while adding fall flare.
Make a wreath. Wreaths aren’t just for Christmas. Making a wreath from leaves, pine cones, and other fall classics can warm up any door or entrance. There are plenty of DIY sites for you to get inspired.
Incorporate candles. Tall candles can make your space warm and inviting. Surround the candles in lanterns or on decorative trays filled with coffee beans, fall leaves, acorns, or candy corn to give it an autumn feel.
Your Lifestyle
Now that the summer is coming to an end, you’ll need to find new ways to enjoy your leisure time and entertain family and friends. Shipyard’s luxurious amenities let you continue to live your ideal life, even after the warm weather fades.
Trade in that wine glass for a coffee mug on the rooftop deck that’s open throughout the season. Fall is the perfect weather for resident grill masters to stay cool as they barbeque. Cap your evening off roasting smores with friends around a firepit in true fall fashion.
If you prefer to spend the cooler fall nights indoors, the common spaces throughout the property can accommodate your friends and family for entertaining. The fireplace is a great place to host a game night and gather people together to relax and have fun.
You can also stay on top of your fitness goals no matter the weather conditions. The cooler weather means you’ll just have to transition your workout routine indoors. Have your morning run in the fitness studio.
